A Weekend of Discovery

In April of this spring, the youth of Irondale will be hosting their second Discovery weekend. Discovery is a program which gives youth an opportunity to discover the love of God and experience the warmth of serving to one another. The theme of the retreat is "Discovering the Love of God through the Scripture", and everything we will be doing during the weekend is designed to bring the scripture alive. The weekend will be filled with skits, games, worship, music, and many other exciting activities.

Through all the activities, worship, and scripture we will not only be looking at the love of God, but what His love means to you. Discovery is an experience in which you are able to be yourself and sieze the opportunity to strengthen your relationship with God.

While at Discovery, mid-highs (anyone in grades 6 thru 8) are able to experience the love of God through the administration of the senior highs. The retreat is a great opportunity for the youth to come together for a special, fun- filled weekend in which they can comfortably worship. Most importantly, Discovery is more than just a retreat, it is an experience like no other in the joy of God's love.
