Opportunities For Involvement

Irondale United Methodist Church wants you to get involved! Opportunities for fellowship are available in many different forms and opportunities for volunteering are everywhere within the life of the church.

United Methodist Men meet every third Sunday at 7:00 AM for a prayer breakfast. They also meet the Monday after the third Sunday for dinner and fellowship.

United Methodist Women have an active circle, the Fidelis Circle, that meets every second Tuesday at 10:00 AM. The Friendship Circle (an evening UMW) is making plans to begin meeting in the fall.

Amazing Grays, an active group designed for people ages 65 and over, meets every second Thursday of the month.

Circle of Friends, a special group for mentally challenged young adults, meets every fourth Tuesday of the month. Plans are underway for a Good neighbors Sunday School Class as well!

Check out our Sunday School Classes. There is a place just right for you!

Youth Fellowship is a great fun opportunity for youth grades 6 - 12. MYF meets every Sunday at 5:00 pm. You may also want to check out Youth Choir, which meets at 4:00 PM on Sunday, just before MYF.

The Children's Ministries at Irondale UMC are very active! From music to Junior Fellowship, we have a lot to offer!

Irondale UMC has a volunteer opportunity for everyone! We are always looking for ushers, Sunday School teachers, yard work helpers, committee members, nursery workers, kitchen helpers, and much, much more. We want you to feel involved!
