Childrens' Ministries

Irondale UMC offers a wide varity of fun-filled and Christ-filled opportunities for its children

Sunday School

Irondale offers Sunday School classes for children starting with age three and going through fifth grade. The sixth grade graduates to the Junior High Sunday School. All classes meet in the lower level of the Educational Building.

Junior Fellowship

A fellowship opportunity for children in grades three through five, Junior Fellowship includes fun and games, as well as biblically based programs.

Celebration Singers

For ages 2nd grade through fifth grade. The Singers practice on Sundays afternoons and perform periodically at worship services and special seasons during the year.

Cherub Choir

For ages 4 years old through first grade. The Cherub Choir practices on Sundays afternoons and performs periodically at worship services and special seasons during the year.

Special Events

The work area on children's ministry offers several special events throughout the year. These include Vacation Bible School in the summer, a Fall Carnival, Christmas Party and Easter Egg Hunt, to name a few.
